TREVOR FORTIER | Men's Volleyball

Trevor Fortier of the men's volleyball team has been named Athlete of the Week after a stellar performance against the Centennial Colts over the weekend. 

Fortier, a first year outside hitter contributed a career high 16 kills and 4 aces to his team's first win of the season for a total of 20 points. With tough blocking and improved defence, Fortier played a big role in the team's 3-2 decision over the Centennial Colts on Saturday in Belleville. Having dropped the first set (24-26) the Lancers came back with a commanding victory in set 2 (25-18) only to fall behind in the set count again in the third (26-28). The Lancers finished off the Colts with back to back wins in the fourth (25-19) and fifth (15-11) to take the game. 

Fortier's consistent improvement from the start of the season is a direct reflection of his impressive work ethic and dedication to his sport. Now sitting in the top 3 for scoring for his team, Fortier is on track to have an even more successful second semester.
