We are in need of student athletes who are willing to volunteer their time to help welcome incoming students at three different events throughout orientation week. Please look at the dates and ensure your availability before you sign up for any of the dates. Residence Move In and Friday Night Lights require a large number of volunteers so please consider signing up for both events!
Please note, all varsity athletes are required to help out at a minimum of two events throughout the season as payment for the 2019 varsity clothing.
The Orientation week events are as listed as follows:
Monday September 2
nd | Residence Move In
- Arrive by 8:30 AM
- We will provide a free tshirt
- Free BBQ
- Done at noon (ish)
Tuesday September 3
rd | Orientation
- Returning students only
- Volunteers will be manning the Athletics tent outside, talking to new students & promoting try outs, home games, events & the Lancers in general
- Please wear Lancer gear
- if you have signed up to help Alicia Douglas as part of her team, please do not volunteer with us.
Friday September 6
th | Friday Night Lights
- Similar to last year’s events, with some upgrades & adjustments
- Volunteers will be helping with inflatable games, the rock wall, yard games, crowd control etc
- Free food
- Wear Lancer gear!
