32 LANCERS NAMED CCAA NATIONAL SCHOLARS

With the 2018/19 varsity season well underway, the CCAA announced their list of National Scholar award recipients for the 2017-18 season.

The CCAA National Scholar Award recognizes the outstanding academic accomplishments of student-athletes. To be recognized, a student-athlete must achieve honours standing at their institution throughout the academic year.

12 Ontario Colleges Athletic Assocation (OCAA) schools combined for a total of 310 student athletes being recognized Nation wide for the accomplishments – including 32 Lancers.

Women's soccer led the way for the Lancers with 12 recipients followed by women's basketball and men's volleyball with 6 each.
