LANCERS SIGN FIRST RECRUIT OF THE SEASON
The Lancers have added their first recruit to the coming 2023 season. Local runner Jake Alexander joins the cross country team after a successful highschool career with St. Paul's Secondary School in Trenton, ON.
The 5'10 runner has two OFSAA appearances to his name and spent time training at York University with Athletics Ontario. A multi-disciple athlete who currently works as a ski instructor, Alexander brings plenty of potential to the growing Lancer squad. With a strong background in steeple chase, soccer and multiple
"Jake is already a very good, credentialed runner but has a lot of untapped potential." Says Lancer Head Coach Kevin Beatty. " He's the kind of runner that will be part of a strong contending team."
Alexander is registered in Loyalist Electrical Techniques program and will continue to train and prepare for the coming season.
