Athletes of the Week | Jack & Wilson

After a successful weekend against the teams from the Nation's capital, the Lancers have named two athletes the Freshii Athletes of the Week!

Aaron Wilson from the men's volleyball team led his team to a 3-set victory over the La Cité Coyotes on Sunday. Providing good veteran leadership, Wilson led by example with maximum effort and desire at every point. He put up 5 blocks, 4 kills, and an ace in the match and played an integral part in shutting down the Coyotes offense.

The men's basketball team had a big weekend as they secured two wins on the road against the Algonquin Wolves & La Cité Coyotes.

The team's top scorer, Jayden Jack, led the charge for the Lancers. Jack put up 32 points, 12 assists, 8 rebounds, and 6 steals over the weekend and played a major role in a pair of hard-fought, come-from-behind victories. While Jack's stats are always impressive, his stoic, steady leadership made the biggest impact over the weekend. After trailing most of both games, Jack's ability to remain focused and composed kept the team in check and pushing for victory.
