WHITE JOINS LANCERS

The Lancers are excited to welcome Jaiden White to the 2018/19 men's basketball team.

Hailing from White Fish Bay Ontario, Jaiden White has a lot to offer the Lancer's men's basketball program.

White boasts an extensive basketball background that culminated in an appearance at the 2017 OFSAA Championships after an undefeated regular season with St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Kenora.

Standing at 6'6, White brings much needed height to the team. "I'm excited to bring Jaiden into the team" Coach Kabeya says. "He's a highly skilled big man who passes well. He's very polished regardless of if he's back to the basket or face up."

White was in the process of researching schools when Coach Kabeya began recruiting him. "Loyalist offered the program I was looking at then Coach reached out to me and it seemed like a really good fit. He's confident in his program and nice guy. He's the kind of coach that you know would do anything for you, and it makes you want to work that much harder for him."

Talent aside, White's personality and quality of character are big influencers for the coaching staff. "Jaiden's a really genuine, nice, good guy. He fits really well into what we're developing our program into and I'm excited to see what he can do for us this year on and off the court."
