LANCERS DOWN THUNDER

LANCERS DOWN THUNDER

The Lancers extended their win streak to 4 after a big 106-82 victory over the Algonquin Thunder.

In a similar fashion to the game Friday night, the Lancers took the lead early on and never looked back. Putting up 28 points in the first quarter, the home team kept pressure on the Thunder and extended their lead to 25 at the break.

The Lancers kept the Thunder at bay with sharp ball movement and impressive defence that forced 26 turnover and earned the Lancers 11 steals.

On the offensive side, veteran player Noah Korovesi was nearly unstoppable in a season high performance. Going 6-7 from the field, 2-3 from the three point line and 5-5 from the foul line, the 6'2 forward contributed a total of 19 points in the win.  Jeremiah Brown also turned in a season high performance with 20 points, 4 boards, 2 steals and a block.

The now 7-1 Lancers look to make it 8 wins on the season when they take on the George Brown Huskies in Toronto on Saturday November 23rd.
