BASKETBALL TEAMS SECURE PLAYOFF SPOTS
As the regular season dust settles, the Loyalist College Lancer basketball teams are gearing up for an exciting postseason journey. Both the men's and women's squads have secured their berths in the playoffs and will travel to Hamilton to take on the Mohawk Mountaineers.
The Loyalist Lancers have epitomized resilience and dedication throughout the season, overcoming challenges and obstacles with remarkable tenacity. Their journey to the playoffs has been marked by hard-fought victories, strategic maneuvers, and moments of brilliance on the court.
For the men's team, the road to the playoffs has been paved with sweat, determination, and a refusal to quit. Having come out on the winning side of numerous tough match-ups this season, the Lancer men have honed their skills and proven themselves capable of taking on any opponent.
Similarly, the women's team has stood up against the test of tough teams and battled hard to earn their position in the East. Having fallen just shy of home-court advantage, the women's team will use their blend of skill, athleticism, and unyielding determination, to take on the post-season.
Round one of the playoffs takes place on Saturday, February 17th with the women's team kicking things off at 1 PM with the men following at 3 PM.
