HUDGINS COMMITS TO VOLLEYBALL SQUAD

Men's volleyball Head Coach Chris Jenkins and the Lancers are excited to announce the signing of another talented athlete for the upcoming season.

Andrew Hudgins of Napanee, Ontario is joining the Lancers for the 2019-20 season.

Having started playing volleyball at a young age, Hudgins' talents on the court really began to take shape when he joined the team in grade nine at Napanee District High School. Now in his graduating year and standing at 6'3 with plenty of natural athletic ability, Hudgins' has developed into an explosive outside hitter with unsuspecting strength.

Hudgins' is a prime example of a multidisciplinary athlete, having had many successes on the basketball court over the years. Currently playing with the U19 Belleville Spirits basketball team, the multi talented athlete fits well into Coach Jenkins' team plan.

"Andrew is a strong, athletic guy that shows a lot of potential on top of his already impressive abilities. He's been in working with the team and we've seen some good development in a short period of time" Jenkins says.  " He's already very strong offensively and fits in well with our team. I'm excited to have him as part of our program."

Hudgins will continue to train with coaching staff and the rest of the team over the summer before entering into the two year Manufacturing Engineering Technician program in September.
