GRAINGER COMMITS TO LANCERS
Men's Volleyball at Loyalist continues to set itself up for success in the upcoming year with the addition of Griffin Grainger to the team.
A 6'4" left side attacker hailing from the nation's capital, Grainger brings a wealth of experience to the Lancer line-up having played competitively at the club level (Ottawa Fusion) as well as with Team Ontario's Beach Volleyball and Indoor squads. Most recently, he helps the Ottawa Fusion place 3rd at the 18U Boys Ontario Championship.
Coming to Loyalist for the Electrical Engineering Technician program, Grainger states, "I really like the school's spirit and love for volleyball and how Loyalist feels more like a community than just a massive college."
"Grffin is a tremendous addition to our team" says Head Coach Chris Jenkins. "He's an incredibly talented, multi-dimensional athlete who has a strong court presence and brings a ton of competitive experience with him."
Coach Jenkins and his coaching staff will be hosting training camps throughout the spring and summer in preparation for the coming season. Anyone interested in taking part should complete the Prospective Athlete Form to get connected .
