LANCERS DEFEAT VIKINGS

The Lancers got off to a slow start, trailing the St. Lawrence Vikings 15-5 in the first. Quickly getting themselves back on track, the home squad overtook the game and never looked back. 

Improving and gaining momentum as the game wore on, the Lancers moved the ball well and outscored the Vikings 17-7 in the second quarter. Britt Mason contributed over half the the Lancers point in the second quarter, adding 9 of the Lancers 17 to push the team to a 37 -25 lead at the half. 

The Lancers continued their push through the second half with great court IQ and vision.  First year Lancer Taylor Blair went on a 10 point run in the fourth quarter to finish with 17 total points, making her the game's leading scorer and moving the Lancers to a 69-46 win. 

The Lancers improve to 2-3 on the season & look to make it back to .500 when they take on the Seneca Sting on November 23rd at home.
