TAYLOR COMMITS TO LANCERS

The Loyalist Lancers' Women's Basketball team is pleased to announce the addition of Chelsea Taylor to the squad. 

A 5'7" guard from the nation's capital, Taylor brings a wealth of competitive experience with her at both the club tier, with Ottawa Next Level, and at the high school level with the Canterbury Chargers who honoured her as team MVP during her senior year. 

Entering into the new Child and Youth Care advanced diploma program, Taylor is looking forward to getting at it on the court. "I decided to come to Loyalist College because, after speaking to Coach Caleb, I realized the Women's Basketball team here would help me work hard and succeed as a player with the drive and effort everyone around me is willing to put in." 

Head Coach Caleb Hugh is excited to add Chelsea's toughness to the squad. "Chelsea plays hard regardless of the situation. Her toughness and fearlessness will be a great asset to the program. She is fast with the ball and attacks the paint well. Her will to compete makes her a great teammate and a fun player to watch."

The Lancers continue to host training camps during the summer months; anyone interested should complete the Prospective Athlete Form to get connected with the coaching staff.
