Bio

Claire Davies joined head coach, Caleb Hugh’s staff in the fall of 2018. Davies brings over a decade of prior coaching experience to the Lancers. She has coached at the club level within her community and at the university and college levels.

Some notable athletic accomplishments Davies has completed in her career have been as followed:

• Received an NCAA Academic Award
• Was the MVP of her basketball in grade 12

Davies graduated from Medaille College an NCAA division three school with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Followed by completing her Master of Arts at the Royal Military College of Canada. Lastly, she received an Advanced Diploma in Behavioral Science from St. Lawrence College. Davies became a coach because she wanted to continue to be involved in the sport of basketball and to give back to her community.

Fun Fact – Claire has been involved with multiple levels of post-secondary basketball: played in the NCAA, played and coached in the CIS (USport), and currently, coaches in the OCAA.
