VIEIRA NAMED OCAA ALL STAR

First year Lancer Amy Vieira (Belleville, ON) was named an OCAA East Division Second Team All Star at the Championship banquet in Ancaster, ON, hosted by the Redeemer Royals.

An incredibly skilled and hardworking player, Vieira's contribution to her team went far beyond the scoreboard. Her intensity and all-out style of play made her a very real threat on the field no matter who the opponent was and a vital piece of the Lancer line up. 

Having transferred from the Univery of Toronto, Vieira's experience at a high level adds an extra element to her already impressive skills. She has the ability to not only challenge, but win a one on one matchup with many of the top players in the league. Whether she was battling for the ball or vying for position in front of the net, Vieira's constant dangerous attack kept the Lancers in many games throughout the season.
