3 STRAIGHT VICTORY FOR LANCERS

3 STRAIGHT VICTORY FOR LANCERS

The women's volleyball team added a win to their record with a 3-0 victory over the Seneca Sting Saturday in Toronto.

The Lancers took a commanding lead in the first set and set a tone that they would carry throughout the game. Thanks to consistent serving and disciplined defence, the Lancers were able to outlast the Sting in long rallies and keep their offence at bay to push through the 3 set victory.

4th year Lancer Jillian Hoftyzer was the game high scorer with 11 kills, 2 aces and 2 blocks for -5 totally points.

Libero Geneva Bloemen played a big role in the Lancers success, recording 29 digs in the game and keeping the ball alive in the back row.

A battle from start to finish, the Lancers and Sting kept the scores close (25-23, 25-22 & 27-25) but in the end, the Lancers walked away with the 3-0 win.

The Lancers get back on the court in a week when they travel to the George Brown Huskies on Saturday November 24
