LANCERS FALL IN STRAIGHT SET TO WOLVES

The Lancers fell in straight sets on the road against the Algonquin Wolves Saturday, January 21.

The now 3-9 were strong from the service line with 6 players recording aces in the match but struggled to generate an effective offense. With 22 unforced errors compared to the Wolves' 14, the Lancers fell 22-25, 14-25 and 19-25 to the Wolves, who were consistent and defensively strong. 

Second year outside hitter Chiara Van der Zalm led the game in scoring with 10 kills, 4 blocks and 1 ace for a total of 15 points while Sierra Scott added 10 with 5 kills and 5 blocks. 
The Lancers will look to for a win in their second game of the weekend Sunday, January 22 when they face the La Cite Coyotes in Ottawa at 1 PM.
