Hannah Schipper | Women's Basketball

Hannah Schipper has been named Lancer Athlete of the Week after turning in her top performance so far in the season in her team's final game of the semester. 

Schipper, who is in her first year with the Lancers, contributed 14 points and 11 boards in the team's hard-fought loss against UTM Eagles. 

The 6'1 forward has shown tremendous improvement in the short time she's been with the Lancers. Schipper is getting consistently better at positioning herself in the post, which allows her teammates to get her the ball; something she capitalized on in Saturday's game. The extra time she puts in at practice shows in not only her ability to convert for baskets, but in the way she is able to impose her will on defenders. 

A well liked, all around team player, Schipper has become an integral part of the Lancers' core. She possesses huge amounts of potential and shows great promise heading into the second semester.
