Bio

Marc Ray, head coach of the Loyalist Lancers' women's and men's golf teams, has been leading the program since its inception in 2022. A Loyalist alumnus and former head coach of the Lancers men's basketball team, Marc brings a wealth of expertise and a deep connection to the college.

With over 20 years of experience teaching golf, Marc is uniquely qualified to guide the Lancers to success. Since 2013, he has served as President of the Canadian Golf Teachers Federation, facilitating global training programs for aspiring golf professionals. His credentials include master's level teaching certifications and completing the Biomechanics of Golf program at Penn State—one of the few Canadians to achieve this distinction. Marc also has extensive experience managing golf courses, further underscoring his comprehensive knowledge of the sport.

Marc’s passion for Loyalist College and the Lancers, combined with his unparalleled skill set, makes him the perfect fit to lead the golf program. Under his leadership, the team continues to grow and excel both on and off the course.
