LANCERS CAN'T GET BY PANTHERS

The men's volleyball team remains winless after their third game of the season.

In the second part of their weekend double header, the young Lancer team faced off against the Canadore Panthers but couldn't manage to pull ahead to secure a win. 

Improving on the previous night's game against the Georgian Grizzlies, the Lancers showed off a much stronger passing game and were able to maintained a more stable serve receive.  With their passing in check, the team should have been able to create a quality offense to battle the Panthers with. However, unforced errors plagued the Lancers and gave the home team the edge the needed to take the win. With 14 attacking errors and 12 missed serves, the Lancers struggled with consistency and weren't able to make use of their improved passing.

 Second year Lancer Matt Bridgeland passed well for the Lancers while Caleb Seguin & Josh Roberts lead the team in scoring with 7 kills each. 

The Lancers will look to earn their first win when they take on the 0-2 Durham Lords.
