LANCERS FALL IN 5 SET DECISION AGAINST LORDS

The men's volleyball team made the first set against the Durham Lords look easy, cruising to a 25-12 victory with precise passes, big blocks and smart attacks. The next three sets saw the Lancers and Lords exchange leads many times and end up with a 2-2 tie, forcing a 5th and final set.

First year Lancer Caleb Seguin (Pickering, ON) lead the game with 20 kills and 4 blocks for a season high 24 points while fellow first year Adam Loosemore (Trenton, ON) contributed 4 blocks of his own.

The fifth set turned into a full fledge battle with both teams playing hard to maintain a lead and walk away with the win. Going nearly point for point the majority of the game, the Lords finally edged out the Lancers in the final points of the game to take the set 15-13 win and walk away with 3-2 win.

Next up for the Lancers is the Fleming Knights on Wednesday November 7th at home.
