LANCERS STUNG IN TORONTO

The men's volleyball team got off to a great start against the Seneca Sting in Toronto on Saturday.

Taking a 25-20 win in the first set, the Lancers looked to be in top form with smart attacks, good blocking and minimal errors.

The victory was short lived as the Sting took back the momentum and took the next two sets 25-19 and 25-13 to go up 2 sets to 1.

The Lancers got back on track in the fourth and held a 5 point lead late in the set. The Sting clawed their way back into the game and closed the scoring gap to 1 with the Lancers ahead 23-22. The Lancers struggles to finish the ball in the final points and gave the Sting a 26-24 win to take the set 3-1.

Outside hitter Caleb Seguin led the Lancers in scoring with 14 points while 4th year Lancer Josh Roberts was a close second with 13.

With 7 days to rest and recover, the Lancers get back at it on Saturday November 24th when they travel back to Toronto, this time to take on the George Brown Huskies.
