LITWILLER COMMITS TO LANCERS

LITWILLER COMMITS TO LANCERS

The Lancers are thrilled to announce the signing of their first recruit to the men's volleyball team for the upcoming season.

Cambridge Ontario native, Riley Litwiller has committed to joining the Lancers for the 2019/20 season. The 6'0 outside hitter brings with him a wealth of knowledge from an extensive background in both the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) and the high school circuit. Litwiller's been a member of the Kitchener-Waterloo Predators, the Waterloo Tigers and currently plays for the Guelph Jr Gryphons.

Having started playing the game at a young age, Litwiller's talents have taken him to Provincial, National and International championships where he's competed among top athletes and teams. He earned a bronze medal with his club team at the Volleyball Canada National Championships in 2016 and battled to an impressive 4th place finish at OFSAA this season with his team at Preston High School in Cambridge.

Lancer Head Coach Chris Jenkins is excited to have Litwiller join the team. "Riley bring us a strong skillset both offensively and defensively and is a very explosive athlete. His experience and leadership will benefit our young group tremendously. We can't wait to start working towards his goals as a Lancer."
