Lancers Split Weekend in Ottawa

The Loyalist Lancers men's volleyball team had a mixed weekend during their road trip to Ottawa. On Friday night, the Lancers fell in straight sets to the Algonquin Wolves. Despite strong efforts, the team struggled to find momentum against Algonquin's efficient offense and fell 25-21,27-25, 25-17.

On Saturday, the Lancers rebounded with a dominant 3-0 victory over the La Cité Coyotes. Liam Hill (Stratford, ON) led the team with 18 kills, 1 ace and 1 block for a total of 20 points, while Evan Westerman (Stirling, ON) and Simon Canon (Toronto, ON) combined for 17. 

The Lancers return home wit a 5-4 record, which they will look to build on when they host the Centennial Colts on Wednesday, November 27th.
