LANCERS FALL TO THUNDER

LANCERS FALL TO THUNDER

The Lancers dropped their third game of the season after a hard fought loss against the Algonquin Thunder at home on Saturday.

The injury plagued Lancers couldn't get by the Thunder's press and struggled to get an offence going. Scoring only 12 points in the first quarter, the Lancers fell behind early on and despite solid efforts, weren't able to recover.

Returning players Kate Raso and Brittany Mason recorded 26 of their teams' 35 points and combined for 16 rebounds. Raso, who is in her second year with the team, scored a game high 14 points while third year forward Mason followed closely with 12.

The Lancers are back in action Saturday November 23rd when they travel to Toronto to take on the George Brown Huskies.
