The Lancers couldn't get redemption against the Durham Lords as they were out dueled on the road 78-47.
The Lancers were held in check offensively as they were limited to 10, 8, 19, 10 points respectively in each quarter. The Lancers were very effective at the free throw line draining 7-8 for a percentage of 87.5. The dynamic duo of Brittany Mason and Kate Raso contributed the bulk of the Lancers offence combining for 33 of the team's 47 points.
Mason had a near double-double performance with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Raso added 16 points of her own and recorded 2 rebounds and 2 assists.
The Lancers will have a few days to bounce back as they are back on the road to battle the Georgian Grizzles on Friday, Jan. 17. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m., with the game being streamed on OCAA LIVE.
