Lancers Earns Road Victory Over Georgian Grizzlies

The Loyalist Lancers women's volleyball team kicked off their northern road trip with a 3-1 win against the Georgian Grizzlies in Barrie, ON. The Lancers showed their dominance in the opening set, taking it 25-16, before a close battle in the second set that saw Georgian edge out a 25-23 win to level the match. The Lancers regained momentum, securing the third set 25-11 and finishing strong with a 25-15 victory in the fourth.

Sydney Crawford led the offensive charge with 10 kills and 4 aces, totaling 14 points. Charlie Cudmore had a standout performance with 11 kills on 18 attempts, 8 blocks, and an ace, leading the team with 20 points. Chloe Pallister made a notable impact off the bench, delivering 5 crucial aces to help seal the win.

The Lancers will continue their road trip on Sunday, October 27th, when they take on the Canadore Panthers in North Bay.
