Jaamal Carter

 Jaamal Carter was born in North York, Ontario on September 11, 1982.

Jaamal attended Loyalist College from 2001 to 2004 and made an immediate impact with the Lancers. In his freshman year he proved to be a force at both ends of the court. His offensive prowess was evident from day one, as he averaged 15.2 points per game in his rookie season. During the next two seasons his outstanding play continued. As a result, he was named an OCAA League All-Star and was his team’s Most Valuable Player.

Jaamal returned to Loyalist in 2006 and graduated from the Business Administration program in 2008. Once again he was a dominating force for the Lancers and continued to add to his scoring totals. For his efforts he was named an OCAA All-Star and in his final season was once again named his team’s MVP.

He capped off his astonishing career by winning the very prestigious Greg Gavin Award and to date is the all-time leading scorer in Lancer history, with an incredible 1,100 career points.
