Safe Sport

Loyalist Athletics & Recreation is committed to providing a safe, positive, and healthy training and competitive environment that is free from maltreatment and abuse. Safe Sport is essential at every level, and we strive to be leaders in this area by continually expanding our own knowledge, educating others, and supporting all participants to ensure their safety both on and off the field of play.

Safe Sport is about creating sport environments where everyone feels respected, included, and protected from harm. It ensures the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of all participants – from athletes to coaches, officials, volunteers, and staff-by actively preventing abuse, harassment, discrimination, and other forms of misconduct.
