Todd Boys

Inducted April 2, 2015

Todd Montgomery Boys was born on April 29, 1975 in Scarborough, Ontario. Todd attended Loyalist College from 1994 until 1998. During his four years at Loyalist he became one of the most successful athletes in Lancer history. As a member of the Men’s Volleyball program team, Todd helped guide his team to three OCAA Gold Medals. The team also went to the CCAA Nationals three times where they finished fourth on two occasions.

In addition to the team success that Todd enjoyed, he received an incredible number of individual accolades making him one of the most decorated athletes in CCAA history. On three different occasions he was named a CCAA All Canadian, was an OCAA League All Star all four years he played and twice was an OCAA Championship MVP. He was named the MVP at the OCAA All Star game three times and won three League Scoring titles. In his final season Todd completely dominated the OCAA finishing the season with an astounding  scoring average of 7.3, at the time it was the highest average ever achieved by a OCAA athlete. Todd was twice named Loyalists Male Athlete of the Year and was his team’s MVP four times. Todd was also named to both the OCAA All Millennium Team and the Dream Team. In 1996-97, Todd was the first ever recipient of the OCAA’s Male Athlete of the Year.

In his final season with the Lancers, 1997-98 Todd capped off his brilliant career by being named the CCAA’s Volleyball Player of the Year. That same year the College officially retired Todd’s Uniform.
