GENERAL CAMP INFORMATION

LOCATION: Loyalist College 
HOURS: Monday to Thursday 9:00 am -3:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

All campers will meet in the gymnasium for introduction and attendance on the first morning of each camp. 
The cafeteria will be open during the lunch hour or campers may bring their own (peanut free) lunch. 
Lunch will be provided on Friday of each week for all campers.

An email will be sent to parents the week prior to each camp with full details on the location, parking, etc. 

The Loyalist Lancers Sports Camps do NOT offer early drop off or late pick up. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Pick up on Friday is at NOON.

Camp Description: Welcome to the Learn to Play Basketball Camp, where young hoop enthusiasts embark on an unforgettable journey of skill development and passion for the game! Our camp is designed to provide a fun and immersive experience for kids eager to learn to play basketball. This week of camp is designed for beginners and offers a unique blend of skill-building activities, teamwork exercises, and friendly competition, ensuring that each participant not only improves their basketball fundamentals but also develops a genuine love for the sport.

Throughout the camps, our dedicated and experienced coaching staff will guide the participants through a curriculum focused on an introduction to the fundamental skills of basketball. From dribbling, shooting, rebounding, introducing defensive strategies, and teamwork, every aspect of the game is covered in a supportive and encouraging environment.

If your child is a beginner looking to learn the essentials of basketball, our camp promises an enriching experience that goes beyond the game, creating lasting memories and a genuine enthusiasm for basketball that will last a lifetime.

Rep Basketball Camp Description: Welcome to the Loyalist Lancers Summer Rep Basketball Camp weeks - the ultimate destination for young athletes, who have a foundation in organized basketball. Our camps are designed for athletes who have played rep and are ready to take their skills to the next level through advanced skill development and strategic gameplay.

Led by experienced coaches, these camp programs will focus on refining individual skills, including shooting, dribbling, and defensive systems, with an emphasis on advanced techniques. Participants will not only elevate their personal performance but will also delve into game strategy, learning the intricacies of plays, defensive tactics, and offensive strategies that set the stage for success on the court.

The Summer Basketball Rep Camps offer a dynamic and supportive environment where young athletes can enhance their basketball prowess while building camaraderie with like-minded peers. Join us for a week filled with skill growth, strategic insights, and the joy of playing the game we love. It's more than a camp; it's a pathway to basketball excellence.

Please Note: To make sure as many girls as possible get to play volleyball at camp, we ask that you sign up for only one of the volleyball camp sessions. The curriculum for these camps is the same for each of the two weeks. We are in a great spot in Belleville where girls' volleyball is very popular! If you would like to register your child for an additional volleyball week, please email afarrow@loyalistcollege.com and if there is space after the first week of registration is complete, you will be contacted to register.

 BOYS VOLLEYBALL CAMP
DATES: July 29 - August 2
 AGES: 11-14 (Born 2010-2013)

Camp Description: Welcome to our Boys Volleyball Summer Camp, an exciting opportunity for boys of all levels to dive into the world of volleyball and contribute to the growth of this fantastic sport in our local community. Whether your child is a beginner looking to explore the fundamentals or an aspiring athlete aiming to refine their skills, our camp is designed to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. With a mission to build up volleyball enthusiasm in our area, our expert coaches are dedicated to fostering a love for the game while nurturing individual development.

At our Boys Volleyball Summer Camp, participants will engage in skill-building activities, interactive drills, and friendly competitions tailored to cater to various experience levels. The curriculum is carefully crafted to cover the basics of serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, digging, and teamwork, ensuring that each camper gains a solid foundation in volleyball fundamentals. By creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere, we aim to instill confidence in players while promoting a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship, essential elements for the growth of volleyball in our local community.

All Girls, All Sports!
Basketball, Rugby, Soccer and Volleyball

Camp Description: Welcome to the All Girls, All Sports Summer Camp, where young athletes embark on an exciting adventure exploring a diverse array of sports in an empowering, all-female-identified environment! This unique camp is designed to introduce girls to a variety of sports, fostering a love for physical activity and promoting a sense of camaraderie. Each day of the week is dedicated to a different sport, ensuring that participants receive a comprehensive and enjoyable introduction to basketball, soccer, rugby, and volleyball.

Our expert coaches who are passionate about their respective sports, will guide the girls through engaging and skill-focused sessions. Whether on the field or in the gym, campers will have the opportunity to develop fundamental skills, understand the rules of each sport, and gain insights from experienced mentors. The curriculum is carefully crafted to balance skill-building with a spirit of fun, ensuring that every participant not only learns the basics but also discovers the joy and teamwork inherent in each sport.

The All Girls, All Sports Camp is always an incredible week, where the emphasis on inclusivity and empowerment aims to build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. From dribbling on the basketball court to kicking goals outside on the soccer field, tackling in rugby, and attacking in volleyball, this camp promises a dynamic and inspiring summer for girls to discover the joy of sports In various settings.
