BILLARD JOINS LANCERS

The Lancers are thrilled to announce the signing of Kalan Billard to the men's volleyball program for the upcoming 2022 varsity season.

Billard comes to the Lancers from Lloydminster, Alberta where he's played competitive volleyball with the Lloydminster Rustlers and TinHats Volleyball Club. A 5'11 left-side, Billard plays with passion, competitiveness and discipline. He attended Lloydminster Comprehensive High School where Billard and his team held an impressive 47-7 set record before falling in a hard-fought quarter-final game at the provincial championships. 

"Kalan is a great addition to our program" says Head Coach Chris Jenkins. "He's very disciplined, adds a high level of energy and will add more depth to our roster." Billard is the fourth player to commit to Jenkins' squad for the coming 2022-2023 season.

"I saw the school when looking for a place to play post secondary" says Billard. "I did some research on the town and it seems absolutely amazing. The coaches have been wonderful throughout my recruitment and it makes me want to be there. 

Coach Jenkins will be hosting training camps throughout the spring and summer in preparation for the coming season. Anyone intersted in taking part should complete the Prospective Athlete Form.
