LANCERS ADD COLE TO LINE UP
The Loyalist Lancers' women's soccer program is excited to announce the commitment of Hannah Cole to the team.
From Cobourg, ON, Cole is a 13-year veteran of the sport with extensive knowledge, experience and undeniable talent. She played CJSL in Peterborough for three years and, most recently, helped push the 18U Darlington Rush team to a 3rd place finish.
Cole is joining Loyalist's Pre-Health Pathway to Science program and has aspirations of continuing in the health sciences field in the future.
"It's great to have Hannah Cole sign and join our program" says Head Coach Rob Terry. "She's following her sister's strong career with the Lancers but is a much different player. At 5'10" and very mobile, Hannah is the perfect person to fill the gap left by graduating team MVP, Alice Bandel. She will be a great defensive leader for our team and I expect will cause a lot of frustration for our opponents."
Cole will join Coach Terry and his coaching team for training camps throughout the summer as they prepare for the beginning of their exhibition season in late August. Official team tryouts begin in September but anyone interested is encouraged to complete the Prospective Athlete Form ahead of time.
